You've actually listed the exact reason people are concerned.

Think of each of those (Passport, NI, DVLA) as a separate room with a different lock. It's deliberately difficult for the government to go between them.

The proposed Digital ID isn't another room; it's a master key designed to link them all together in real-time. The fear isn't about the data existing, it's about connecting it all into one easily tracked profile.

The thing is, Vanessa isn’t telling the person with Celiac disease to put up with it, she’s telling the caller.

She also said, surely they’ll be something on the buffet your son would like (the fussy eater), as that seems extreme too.

Vanessa’s point right or wrong is that the person with Celiac should have their own separate food.

It’s light entertainment and should be taken that way.

I personally didn’t realise Coeliac disease was so extreme, so this post has at least got me thinking and helped educate me ❤️
