Glyphosate
It doesn't get much dumber than this, though I've learned never to underestimate the internet. Chelation is an important topic in toxicology when it's discussed in the right context. This isn't it. #fleetingpost
I had such a great experience at the Lilienfeld Alliance Conference, meeting wtih other scholars on how to best teach concepts in critical thinking. My talk discussed disinformation in agriculture. Check it out, fresh info and a fun talk. https://t.co/kulGsensMt
@SpeakerJohnson Red Scare 2026. They showed their cards too early. As a political moderate this kind of gaslighting is a massive turn off, and I hope it backfires. They are not communists. They are capitalists with a good Jesus streak.
@stkirsch Stay hot Steve. So the guy that is biohacking his body with all kinds of screwy practices and nostrums has developed an autoimmune issue, and you blame the vaccine that didn't cause this in anyone else. Ugh.
@SecRollins@USDA Sweeping the porch while the house is on fire? The grants that sought to level some inequities are cancelled to score culture war points, and really do nothing to solve real ag problems. Plus it is unethical to cancel grants the government approved because you don't like them.
Fight for the future of USA science funding! A proposal in DC will put a political watchdog in charge of which grants get funded and can terminate funding at any time. I talk to Dr. Colette Dalawalla from Stand Up for Science about how we can stop this. https://t.co/mVZGA9fQAc
@Igor_Frnknstein@zenhoneycutt They have their agendas to promote. I've read so much about "immunity" and "can't sue". Damn right you can. You just can't do it based on a state's lack of a label. If you have evidence, go to court. Good luck.
I also object to folks w MD behind their name creating disinformation about unproven ivermectin applications
We have real #lifesaving measures for patients w #COVID & #cancers.
It's OK to use them!
Ivermectin good for
Strongyloidiasis
Onchocerciasis
Head lice
Scabies
Rosacea
Do you want federal funding of science, your tax dollars, being distributed by a political appointee, chosen to ensure any projects are in line with the President's agenda? It is poised to happen, but you can stop it. This week's podcast. https://t.co/mVZGA9fQAc
@DrBenTapper1 I can make it make sense. You don't understand the science of mercury based compounds, detection of rare chemistries or fundamentals of toxicology. Worse, you're willing to create fear around your ignorance.
@MaryBowdenMD It's where I get mine. Great for mange on pigs and managing any invertebrate problem. But I'm a scientst, and object to folks with an MD behind their name creating disinformation about unproven applications of ivermectin.
@Kat_Cammack It would be nice if you helped with that resonsibility in preserving them part, rather than letting The King rule without nuance or push back. I was in your corner, but disappointed by the abdication of duty, where Congress has capituated to the corruption of the Executive Branch
Scientists and Science Enthusaists! We Need YOU!!
New rules will install political oversight into what grants get funded, and a non-scientist will decide what gets funded and when to pull the plug. MAKE A PUBLIC COMMENT TODAY! @asbp @AAAS@theNASciences https://t.co/mVZGA9fQAc

@Markgpsu@aaas@theNASciences I'm so sorry to hear this, and that is in today's funding climate. Can you imagine of a political gatekeeper is installed?

@GlyphosateGirl Mexican farmers will still buy the elite hybrids from the same companies. It's awful that you and the Mexican government reject seed sovereignty and farmer choice, two things the anti-GMO movement always claimed to respect. Let farmers choose what works best for them.
