Warrior Elementary doing Hour of Code lessons with Mortimer Jordan students! We’re coding a program to make a puppy run and jump! @warriorjefcoed@JEFCOEDTech
@JEFCOED Thrilled to announce I am a freshly-minted Level 1 Google Certified Educator! Thanks Jefcoed for making this opportunity available!@GoogleForEdu https://t.co/i50uTtw9Zu #GoogleCE
Q8: I've been privileged to work for some of the best principals. My favorites are those who find a way to make things happen regardless of barriers and obstacles! #Lipscomb#Minorcommuity#Chalkville#JEFCOEDChat
I don't think there are limits - there are so many possibilities. We've just scratched the surface. I think I can teach with the finest lab and the latest gadgetry or a coloring book and two broken crayons! #JEFCOEDChat
A7: Having the entire COB turn out to cheer the "teachers of the year" as we walked down the hall was icing on the cake (and we had cake later)!#STAC#JEFCOEDchat
Being part of STAC ranks high on my bucket list. Hearing Dr. Pouncy say that we could start since "Warrior" showed up was a nice touch (I might have been late). We've got a big county and yet he remembered who I was! #JEFCOEDchat
Q6: I've been fortunate to be a part of a gifted department that emphasizes professional growth through inservice and collaboration. #teacherleader#JEFCOEDchat
Q5: If I were in an interview in 1992, I would have said that a teacher has to make learning fun. Today I realize I should have said engaging. #JEFCOEDchat
Q4: I think the master teacher realizes that every kid is different and what works with one doesn't work with everybody. The avenue is sometimes difficult to find, but when that happens, it's so rewarding (for everyone) #JEFCOEDchat
My favorite was my history teacher Sandra Combs from Minor. One year she's chasing me from the East to the West Building at Minor and then later I'm working for her at McAdory. She knew how to relate to us and we knew who was BOSS. #JEFCOEDchat
A2: perhaps realizing that you can never master the craft - every year they throw something new at me - now I have to learn how to do Fortnite dances. #JEFCOEDChat
For myself, I consider my ability to stay flexible and roll with the "punches" a hallmark of a master teacher. I've learned that at the end of the day, the most important thing is that the kids deserve my focus and energy. #JEFCOEDChat
