My thoughts for you after game 13 of 84

- Reminder when you go on a bender after being off the sauce for 15 years you’re going to have a bit of a hangover. It appears the Sabres have shit, showered and shaved their way back.

- Tage Thompson and Rasmus Dahlin appear to have been inspired by California teenagers. They both caught a buzz and are now walking around in their Chrome Heart big boy pants. Good to see when they go the Crest goes.

- Colton Ellis looked good again. He brings a little bit of swag/ confidence to the net which ya need. Also I think I found him a nickname. Can I get an Ell yeah?

- I’ve seen some fellas concerned about the last 5 minutes. IMO the Sabres got a little to #Conservative. I’m not political but I’ve been told it’s tough to be #Conservative in California.

- Speaking of benders.. the Sabres currently have a French one that’s weighing it at 6’8” 230 pounds. He’s gotta change something up maybe his Number idk he’s not clicking.

- Beck Malenstyn continues to be the man. Every team in the National would want that fella. We’re in California so have I have to give credit to the entire cast

- ESPN crew was #brutal from the PXP people to the between periods “insider” who just couldn’t get a word out. Serves as a great reminder the Crest has been #blessed with a great PXP crew for so long.

- Sabres are 4 points from being first in the Atlantic… but are currently tied for last place. That’s #wild

- Finally thank you for your service to all of those who stayed up.

Russian strikes on Ukraine today are truly horrific. A train station in Dnipro, downtown Chernihiv. A father crying over the body of his child. Children screaming for a dad who is now gone.

​And no reaction from the US, which is the most involved in making a "peace deal." Nothing from Trump at all.

​It creates such a scary, dangerous reality, one where russian oil refineries are protected, but Ukrainian children simply walking the streets of their cities are treated as fair targets. One where the aggression is supported and rewarded and the resistance is judged.

​I’m horrified by the world I find myself in. This is not how you make peace deals, this is how you betray your allies and throw them to the wolves.
