Good days birding at St Abbs today: RB Shrike, at least 4 Pied and 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Redstart, Whinchat, Peregrine and PB Brent on Thorntonloch beach this evening. @birdinglothian@Birding_Borders
Male Redstart elusive in walled garden at St Abbs today. Also Small Copper on on one of the noticeboards - unfortunately large policeman needed for dog walkers - sheep grazing the reserve and not one dog on a lead! @Birding_Borders
Back to Thorntonloch for some late Yellow Wagtail action: probably the last 2 sites with parents still feeding fledged birds. One bedraggled- looking male bird. @birdinglothian
