Austin lived thru actual DSA rule from 2019 to 2021 when @GregCasar was the de facto Mayor and unleashed the worst homeless and policing crisis in the city’s history
The DSA threat is always most prevalent at local level.
It’s impossible to pull off at state or federal level
Austin taxpayers are paying for city council members and staff to attend DSA conferences where they network and discuss how to gain more power
The #txlege should put a stop to this , property taxes should not fund the DSA!
In fairness to Huck, I spent many years promoting sharia law in the Caller newsroom owing to countless acts of "unspeakable evil," such as @dhookstead's legendary Kendra Lust interview
In response to a @DailyCaller article quoting foreign policy experts critical of Amb. Huckabee's posture toward Israel, the ambassador shares an op-ed from The Jerusalem Post that:
- Describes us as "godless soul killers"
- Calls us "in effect" an "Iranian arm" and "Trump haters"
- Describes a mildly critical article as an "unspeakable evil and betrayal"
- Asserts Huckabee was chosen by God to be ambassador to Israel
- Suggests Huckabee was surprised to find the article was published, though we reached out to him for comment and included his comment in the piece
- Refers to us as Tucker Carlson's "lapdogs," despite Tucker selling his stake in the Caller years ago and having no involvement in our publication
This is genuinely insane.
Justice Sotomayor in dissent today maked an excellent point. She discusses what appears to be a substantive canon: a "Canon Against Illegal Immigration". If we're going to have such canons, this one makes sense. Read laws to stymie illegal immigration. Good point!
Leader of ANTIFA Cell Members in North Texas SENTENCED TO 100 YEARS IN PRISON for Terrorist Attack on ICE Facility: Seven additional defendants also sentenced before one-year anniversary of attack to a combined 450 years in prison
This is the first sentencing of defendants affiliated with Antifa following @POTUS’s executive order designating the group as a Domestic Terrorist Organization in September 2025.
"The sentences handed down today make clear that Antifa terrorists who attack law enforcement and federal facilities will face swift and uncompromising justice,” said Acting Attorney General @DAGToddBlanche. “Their violent extremism has no place in our country, and the Department of Justice will continue to aggressively investigate, disrupt, and prosecute those who threaten law enforcement officers or undermine the rule of law."

Yes, credit goes to @Axios Chicago for having the audacity report that Barack Obama’s pals, former Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, attended the invitation-only VIP opening of the Obama Presidential Center last Thursday.
Hunter Biden is a dime a dozen in an AA meeting. He’s telling jokes you’ll hear from a dude with a face tattoo in a church basement on any given Tuesday afternoon. You guys just don’t know any drug addicts.
Cedar Park-based Firefly Aerospace won a $75 million NASA contract to deliver propulsive drones to the moon’s south pole.
The mission, set for no earlier than 2028, uses the company’s Elytra spacecraft to carry NASA’s MoonFall drones on a 45-day journey. The drones will survey terrain and identify safe landing sites for future Artemis missions as NASA builds toward a lunar base by the early 2030s.
Firefly, which achieved the first commercial moon landing last year with its Blue Ghost lander, continues to expand its role in lunar exploration.

As we await election results, a tidbit on AG candidate Mayes Middleton's business interests and food choices.
Middleton is an investor - or at least was last year - in Jeffrey's, the iconic Austin fine dining restaurant. Opened in 1975.
He also invests in Lamberts BBQ. #txlege
Thank you, Mr. President!
"WE HAVE ALREADY MADE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, BUT NOW, WE WANT TO MAKE OUR NATION BETTER THAN EVER BEFORE. Therefore, Ken Paxton has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next United States Senator from the Great State of Texas – KEN PAXTON WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
Austin's police chief and mayor say that if Austin had license plate readers it could have helped with today's manhunt and shootings
This incident is going to re-open that debate , recently some city council members have been fighting hard against this type of surveillance tech
Also note that Kia reached a settlement with 35 states in December to improve anti-theft measures on its vehicles, so it just isn't true that Kia doesn't care about this.
The Kia claims are kind of an op. Plaintiff-side firms litigating those suits, Baron & Budd for instance, are top dollar donors to Democrats. And the cases supply a convenient red herring for pro-crime Democrats. Chicago, St. Louis, and Lexington were first movers on this.
Austin is grappling with a serious problem of teenagers stealing Kia vehicles and using them to commit crimes.
This is exactly how Infowars writer Jamie White was killed — during an attempted theft of his Kia.
The Travis County DA is empathetic to these teens, often releasing these offenders even when many are openly bragging about their crimes on social media.
Kia needs to face lawsuits from states and victims because the company knows its vehicles are easy targets for thieves yet has not done enough to implement stronger anti-theft measures.
These people hate beauty for the standards required to maintain it. But they are, despite themselves, directionally correct. Washington shouldn’t look like a pygmy European capital. Yes to thick woods and Richardsonian style. No to arches and grand avenues.
