@YuHuang_yh@ICSEconf The results suggest that objective measures of stress were reduced when I disrupted the participants. My conclusion is that I reduce stress (please collaborate with me 😂).
Soooo many people and the room is not big enough - audience sit/stand all the way towards the open area outside😂 thank you so much everyone for listening to the presentation!! We hope to see more fun future work from you too! ❤️
Check our fun (also award winning🏆 ) paper presentation at 11am in Room S8 @ICSEconf: how do different levels and types of interruptions affect developers in SE activities? Presentation given by @KevinJLeach who plays the bossy boss 😆
Our ICSE paper with @KevinJLeach "Breaking the Flow: A Study of Interruptions During Software Engineering Activities" received the SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award :) Thank you @ICSEconf ! So proud this is the project solely led by our undergrad Yimeng Ma at @VanderbiltU! 🥳
Our paper “A Four-Year Study of Student Contributions to OSS vs. OSS4SG with a Lightweight Intervention” received the SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at @FSEconf 2023! Thank you so much @FSEconf! This work is many years in the making and this award is very encouraging!
