@FatherChrisVor1 @wendelltalks The water John talks about in verse 5 is not water baptism … it is Jesus speaking and he is talking about spiritual cleansing and purification from sin, while the “Spirit” represents the active, re-creating power of the Holy-Spirit that brings new life.
