It didnโt take Hansi Flick 10games to get Barca to play good football, this nonsense fraud has been here for 3 fucking seasons, still no identity or style of play!! #TenHagOUT
@DrBKhalwale Omwami, Kakamega to Kisumu is around 50 Kms. Eldoret to Bungoma around 90 Kms. Both western towns are sufficiently served by 'International Airports.' Can't you guys focus on more pressing and priority issues?
If you want to see mediocrity take a look at Kericho stadium where Mashujaa Day is being marked.
What we seeing is after great efforts by national government to get the venue ready for Mashujaa day, imagine if national government never moved in.
I dare ask , we have had devolution for 10 solid years yet not a single county I dare say have been able to get together a decent stadium. Mombasa stadium is now home to all sort of reptiles having gobbled over half a billion Ksh. I can give some credit to Kakamega & Machakos all the rest are no better than a cowshed. Take a look around you. @KenyaGovernors
Building a decent stadia is no rocket science it's no big deal , tiny football clubs do it and right here in Kenya, we have Ulinzi that was built in Langata by our own military in record time. I am also taking the liberty to share images from Ulinzi stadia, small and neat. @UlinziStarsFC
As we celebrate Mashujaa Day let us ask ourselves tough questions why stadias are neglected in our country and when there is attempt to fix it the very people meant to fix it eat the funds. There is NO reason why each county in Kenya cannot have a proper stadia with a practice field adjacent.
Just look around and see sheer talent by our young boys and girls during inter school football tournaments , can you imagine if we gave them a real chance in life by getting them a good stadia which surely does not have to cost a leg and an arm.
One advice I would like to give to H.E The President William Samoei Ruto @WilliamsRuto get our military to replicate what was made at Ulinzi across all the 47 counties. Handover to each Governor a working stadia with warm up pitch next door. Kenya Premier League will happily have the lower tier league come to life where real talent is identified. Late Reinhardt Fabisch went to the villages to identify talent. The talent I saw recently at Waa football ground in Kwale will leave you wowed. We have hundreds if not thousands of Sadio Mane and Ronaldos getting destroyed by Muguka and illicit drinks. They should be playing in leading leagues around the world raking in much needed forex.
Your excellency the youth will remember you for a very long time.
As always I choose to remain an optimist and Happy Mashujaa Day
God Bless Kenya
