I have no words. Just a wild graphic to look at. Illinois leads the country in preliminary tornado reports according to the SPC. 119 in Illinois is 1st place, with 2nd place all the way down to 53 in Mississippi. You can also combine Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas and only get 103. Illinois, the new heart of tornado alley? It sure has been the last 3 years. Thoughts?

You can see the dust looking northwest of Champaign towards Mahomet.

Mahomet had 90mph winds at this location at 150 (Oak St.) and 47 (Lombard St.) according to the NWS damage survey. Other parts of the tornado path were at 100mph winds.

Mahomet tornado was an EF-1 with 100mph winds. On the ground for 15.5 miles and max width of 500 yards. On the ground from 6:55pm-7:09pm.
