@HiiipowerDanni I had Android (including Samsung) for years along with my Macs. Didn’t switch to iOS until just a few years ago and honestly with recently having access to a Pixel, I’m contemplating a switch back to that workflow. Others would be interested in that content.

Here is something I don’t fully understand.

MrBeast has shown the wealthy celebrities and political class what one’s platform and cultural cache can be done to impact real world change.

He’s not even 30 and has done more in the last 6 years than people who have had wealth and fame his whole lifetime, do make a direct difference.

What if some of the people who are insisting on this better world or way of doing things, at least here in America…

Go ahead and voluntarily do a wealth tax on themselves?

But organize it collectively?

Nothing stops them from setting up a “Sovereign Wealth Fund for the Marginalized” if they really wanted to.

1000 people of high net worth could donate 10% of all their wealth or $1M-$10M each and then 1% of all of their earning and royalties in perpetuity even after they pass and have the fund invest in Index funds or just Government Bonds for like 10 years and while it keeps getting more contributions on the principal…

And they could also take out a life insurance policy and make the fund the beneficiary…

It would be accumulating 100s of millions if not billions in capital gains.

Those gains over 30 years could fund every project they can think of for targeted interventions to address all the inequality, real or imagined they can think of…

No government interference, no holding one’s breath every election…

They could put their money where their mouth is and literally just volunteer to fix it if they really cared to.

And there would be no disruption to their lifestyle and comfort whatsoever.

They also can circumvent the corruption of all the politicians they don’t like with this approach.

And instead of waiting till they die to do the giving pledge, it would be them making the world a better place while they are still here.

They could do all the altruism they want without needing everyone else to be involved, maybe even inspire other to do it.

MrBeast has already given away over $100M of his $1B empire to make the world a better place.

Having 1000 celebrities just chip in or raise $10M over the course of few years doesn’t seem like it’s a heavy lift.

Hell, just imagine if every sitting never of Congress gave up 10% of what they have and donated 10% of their income from all sources to the state/district they represent?

I don’t know why nobody else has come to this conclusion…

It seems to me everything they say is performative.

Because they could just do things…

This unfortunately has been an issue for a while now. I’ve experienced the same thing when I mistyped by one character. I’ve also worked with not-so tech savvy patients that have done this very thing and ended up paying through the wrong portal that just went into the abyss.

I got a bill in the mail from a medical test I had recently and it had a website to pay online. I went to the site and just before I put my CC in, I just second guessed the site because it looked a little weird. I checked the URL and I had misspelled it by 1 letter. Scam Site.

@AlexGTech1 As far as the first gen M-Series Macs I have, there have been no slow downs that I’ve experienced. I might even say that they’ve gotten better. 🤫

But as far as one of the Intel MBPs I still have, I’ve only really been able to do general tasks on it.
