Thank you to everyone who has supported my campaign. As of noon yesterday, I was officially reelected to the Lee County Commission without opposition. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue fighting for a prosperous, safe and resilient Lee County.
Every law-abiding American citizen should feel outrage at the Trump verdict. Partisan politics shouldnโt play out in courtrooms. Justice was not served, and I hope this motivates everyone to get out and VOTE in November!
Today, we pray for, remember, and honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in service to our country. Your courage will never be forgotten. To the heroes we've lost and those who continue to serve, thank you. ๐บ๐ธ #MemorialDay
Lee County residents are kept safe by our dedicated law enforcement agencies. We appreciate all you do, I look forward to continuing to fight for the resources you need to safely uphold law and order in Lee County
Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms out there! Your love, strength, and guidance light up our lives every day. Thank you for everything. ๐ #MothersDay
Hurricane season is nearly here. Take time this month to review your plans and supplies to make sure you and your family are prepared for any storm. Lee County is more resilient today than ever before, but we must all stay vigilant and ready. #NationalHurricanePreparednessWeek
This Teacher Appreciation Week, let's celebrate the incredible educators who shape our future and inspire us to always strive for excellence. Thank you, teachers, for your unwavering dedication and passion. #TeacherAppreciationWeek
The rise of anti-Semitism on college campuses is nothing short of disturbing. I am proud to stand with our Jewish friends and the people of Israel as they defend their homeland.
It was an honor to present Law Enforcement Leader Awards to both Sheriff Marceno and State Attorney Amira Fox at the Legacy of Leadership Banquet last week. Thank you for all you do to uphold law and order in our communities.
Remember that the deadline to apply for housing repairs or assistance from Lee Cares is next month, May 15th. Please take advantage of this Federal aid while it is still available. You can submit an application at https://t.co/HE7vgSiqNt
FEMAโs decision to pull the Lee County flood insurance discount is unacceptable. Local families are struggling enough as it is, and an insurance premium increase is the last thing we need.
This discount is necessary relief. I won't back down from this fight.
Itโs always an honor to throw out the first pitch as we kicked off the Twinsโ Spring Training season yesterday! Spring Training is a great tradition in Lee County and we are proud to be the Spring Training homes of both the Twins and Red Sox.
