@SFCWills@CryptoCharged Call it what you want, that amount of money still has to come from somewhere. Since there's billions of XRP supply, to make each token worth tends or hundreds of dollars requires enormous amounts of XRP to be locked away. By who, you? The army? Math is math.
@brunomonteiro66 Jake is a known, admitted under oath in court FRAUDSTER. Look up his Verivend case, it's public record. He forged documents and screenshots that he had raised millions when he hadn't. How is he still in business?
@digitaloutlook3 I see people in a certain XRP mastermind discord making drastic life altering decisions to fund a single token portfolio, not understanding what ODL is, velocity of XRP, it's recycled nature in actual use, massive supply..and they're getting wrecked. Just want people to wake up.
@digitaloutlook3 XRP Is an awesome tool and technology. We're not anti XRP or don't want to see our peers thriving and winning. We're sick of people claiming a bridge asset will suddenly become a store of value. Tokens that go up in value don't need constant hype. They just print.
@AustinMatesk utility does not mean price appreciation in this context itโs not a scare store of value asset, so at least diversify into tokens that have a scarcer supply or burns, buybacks, yield, etc..deflationary and benefit token holders
@AustinMatesk itโs a bridge just like US dollars are a world reserve currency you could buy dollar bill bills expecting because theyโre used throughout the world for settlement that each dollar will suddenly become worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. Thatโs a similar analogy for XRP.
@AustinMatesk iโm not anti-XRP. Iโm pretty new to Crypto. I found XRP right away, but after researching it constantly for months, I came to realize itโs not the best investment for me as a spot price go up invest investment.
@AustinMatesk thatโs why the price is low. Itโs not because weโre waiting for more utility or more partnerships. This is the actual price it works at moving billions currently and now with most choosing to use stable coins the likelihood of it going beyond three or four dollars isnโt very high
@AustinMatesk but was on demand liquidity do you understand XRP is sourced on demand for the transaction so the institution sources it from Ripple or an automated market maker the liquidity pool for the transaction and within three seconds it sold back to the equity pool itโs not bought & held
@AustinMatesk ...that not only is the massive supply of billions of tokens, combined with monthly dilution from Ripple escrow feeding into available supply...that for XRP to move past a couple dollars would take trillions of dollars of people or institutions buying and holding XRP.
@AustinMatesk@PollingtonSean It's a great investment if you're okay with a potential 1 to 3x.. if you research how on demand liquidity ODL actually works for XRP how institutions use Ripple net and RLUSD far more often than actual spot XRP for transactions, etc. itโll come to realize
@SaiTaTsunami3@wilming_ton He doesn't care what you invest in. His point is valid. Smart investors would have been buying and hoarding XRP if they knew it would be worth a ton later. It's not, and they don't. Research ODL. RLUSD. Learn what you invest in. You're totally doomed
@mikescrpto@wilming_ton Yeah you don't buy US Dolllars accumulating those just because you know most of the world will settle in US dollars you donโt expect your dollar bills to be worth thousands of dollars just because a lot of money has settled on that currency. Same for XRP. It's a bridge.
