Why is it, that it's still fine to call a garden designed in the style of the far east, 'Oriental', but apparently to refer to people from the far east as 'Oriental', is considered racist, bigoted and non-PC? 🤔🤦

Huge respect for @moneillsf today. Didn't quite get the wreath thing other than possibly an ingrained desire to not want to go the whole hog, but nevertheless, a huge step of progress.
Given the history, the symbolism was powerful and encouraging.

Just finished a first listen of 'Honest' by @chrisrend. Probably the most 'real' and indeed, honest Christian album I've heard. If there were more albums like this, maybe more Christians wouldn't wear a mask.
It's like Springsteen for God's people.

@20mph_democracy Sadly, those that can be bothered to vote in Wales will majoratively never vote Tory because 'Thatcher closed the mines', 'We all vote Labour round here' or its seen as an 'English' vote.
Voting Plaid as a protest just splits the vote and lets Labour in.

How many people who are 'outraged' about it, especially on social media, will either still vote Labour at the next Senedd election or typically not bother to vote at all?
