Independent advocacy can make a real difference to the lives of Care Experienced people. That’s why we’re pleased to see the announcement yesterday where the Scottish Government included this in the Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Bill.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Action on Advocacy campaign that called for this. But the work isn’t done yet. We’ll continue to keep our eyes on the bill and scrutinise it as it progresses through the Scottish Parliament.

We know that keeping the Promise doesn’t end with this legislation. Successful implementation is essential to making real, lasting change across Scotland.💙

@HMRCcustomers Person died in 2018. Tax rebate was sent to "Executor". The letter and cheque was misplaced and never given to a bank.
Its been found now!
Will that cheque still be valid, or is a new cheque required to be issued to give to bank?
