🚨🛜 New talks between Chelsea and Sunderland over Granit Xhaka are scheduled for Monday. Senior executives from both clubs remain in direct contact.
⚠️ The deal remains difficult, but is not off at this stage. Xhaka’s position is clear: he wants to join Chelsea and work under Xabi Alonso. Full agreement on personal terms is already in place, as revealed. #CFC
At the same time, Xhaka has great respect for Sunderland and remains patient. @SkySportDE 🇨🇭

Sunderland have turned down an offer from Chelsea to sign Granit Xhaka and informed their Premier League counterparts the midfielder is not for sale at any valuation.
While Chelsea feel the proposal is fair, Sunderland have deemed it to be unacceptable and regard the approach as lacking respect for both the 33-year-old Switzerland international and Wearside club.

I genuinely feel really bad for 99.9% of Sunderland fans with this whole Xhaka stuff, we know exactly how shit it feels after Isak’s actions last summer…
But this prick, this prick - I am taking great pleasure in his tears 💉💉💉 #NUFC
