@mbiti_mwondi Am in the trading space and what I have learnt is, it's never abt making money but rather how to be disciplined in your expenditure, futuristic in your planning and keen on risk management. You can make little and grow wealth other than one making millions and spending all of it
@AhmedKAli01@Honeyfarsafi esp non-muslims. Fortunately the kikuyu helped get a slot on a late night bus and I left. I've never thought of going back to Garrissa again... Not in support of tribal rhetoric though, but truth be said, there are places in this country where non natives are not so welcome
@AhmedKAli01@Honeyfarsafi It was getting late I couldn't manage to get back to Nairobi, I asked the kikuyu shopkeeper if I could get short stay accomodation in Garrissa town for the night, he told me, most hotels are owned/controlled by Somalis and they don't give accomodation to "nywele ngumu.."
@carltonkitheka1@RobMacharia Mere cost difference. How much is a Tesla and how much is Spiro bike, just for starters, cost of owning a lithium battery that runs on an ebike like Spiro is upwards of 100k
@rwanyingi@sholard_mancity Yes they do, I sell Neta EVs and they are charged at home, only that we come to fix the charging system ensuring that it's safe, stable and reliable... But cheapest Neta EV is 5M battery+ charging system inclusiv... So issue is not spiro can charge at home, but at what cost
@Williamgoogler@sholard_mancity Ideally, a company is not legally obligated to explain it's business model to potential clients but if you go through it's terms of engagement carefully, you will notice that some of it's aspects are captured. Question is do Kenyans read terms and conditions???
@IAMRAPCHA And for being a victim, I am sorry I don't know your stry but next time before committing to any financial obligation, first do your due deligence, scout for options and read all the terms of engagements careful and even with a lawyer of possible before making a decision
@IAMRAPCHA So given a choice btn petrol powered boxer or TVs going for 150k and the ebike at 270k, they will opt for the normal TVS or Boxer hence the need for distributors to maintain ownership of battery to keep costs low... If you still don't get it then I give up
@manuku_kennedy@simonmugulu@sholard_mancity Boilz down to distributor's business model, if u read their contracts carefully, they will tell you all risks concerning btry are transferred to u, if you short or destroy it, u will take full responsibility & incur all costs of repair or replacement which I can assure u si cheap
@KrisakiMuziki@sholard_mancity By 3 phase I ain't referring to the mere load but rather a line that provides stable and reliable power better part of the day, you don't want to undercharge your battery coz that destroys it's capacity to hold power... But coz you are too smart, you wont reason beyond google :)
@KrisakiMuziki@sholard_mancity The tragedy of being young is u blv your opinions are the genius until you walk in a room full of engineers, business developers, emobility experts & they explain stuff & u realize what u read on Google is just a fraction of the knowledge u need to engage in a serious discourse
@IAMRAPCHA Sometimes we bring emotions where we should apply logic, there are numerous distributors of ebikes offering different terms and prices, did you consider the other options first? If not what is stopping you from considering other options??
@KenyanSays@spirokenya Just done some background check and realized cost of lithium battery in Kenya is 102k and cost of Spiro ebike without battery ni 95k ukihepa na hyo ebike, who loses more?
@WillyAbuga If you ask most people owning the ebike what inspired them to buy it watakwambia ni juu niliona so and so ako nayo... No rational logic behind the purchase
@WillyAbuga Problem with Kenyans is we don't do due diligence, we don't read contracts we don't compare different options available on the market but rather make decisions based on perception and emotions and come back complaining
