A huge well done to our amazing Year 5 & 6 tag rugby team who took part in today’s Borough Tournament! After a challenging start in the morning, they came back fighting after lunch — winning 3 out of 5 games and finishing 2nd in their group!
What a way to end NSPCC’s PANTS Week! Today, our dino mascot, Pantasaurus, stomped into school to help wrap up the week with an important assembly about body safety and the PANTS rule! A huge thank you to Pantasaurus for bringing the fun and helping our students learn @NSPCC
We’re blown away by the dedication and creativity in this term’s homework projects. From forces and coasts to Buddhism and rites of passage, every piece shows how much effort our children put in. Well done to everyone involved! 👏✨
Year 4 had a fantastic time presenting their Spike Lego projects! Pupil's brought to life their innovative ideas, not only in Lego but also with a Bluetooth connection to ensure they could program its movement too! We won 3rd place for the best poster design! @StPaulsSchool
Year 5 had a splash of fun in Science this week! We explored water and air resistance by designing and testing our own paper boats. After carefully crafting our vessels, we timed how long it took for them to travel across a water tray—powered only by our breath!
Gardening club is excited to unveil their latest project: the Sweet Pea Teepee! 🌸🌿 A cozy little home for our climbing peas to thrive and twist their way to greatness. It’s a teepee, it’s sweet, and it’s all things pea-rrific! 🏕️💚 #SweetPeaTeepee#GardeningFun
Cherry class loved going on a senses walk around school and through the playground! 🍃👂👀 We used our eyes, ears, and noses to explore the sights, sounds, and smells of the world around us. It was a fun way to connect with nature and experience the environment in a whole new way
🌸 Cherry Class had an amazing visit to the Buddhist Temple in Wimbledon! 🏯 They explored stunning paintings that told the Buddha’s story, gaining insight into his teachings. The children also practiced meditation, finding moments of calm and focus. 🧘♂️🧘♀️
So with thanks to the @LBRUT funding that Kew Riverside received last term, a great start has been made on our allotment area. Earth prepared… waiting for soil delivery and for the fantastic Wednesday club to start planting! Green fingers ahoy!
