We unlock the mind through a combination of music therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and adaptive lessons. Creative arts therapies for everyone!
THANK YOU! Wow! $5,152 raised so far, but there are still HOURS left to change the lives of hundreds of Midlands families! Make a difference by making a donation: https://t.co/aI5qh0tDBu #InvestForImpact
Audrey implements puppets, instruments, and physical touch into her music therapy sessions for full enjoyment and engagement. This bit of dramatic play even included bilingual integration as her small friend identified words he knew in both English and Spanish! Que maravilloso
What makes our therapeutic offerings unique? Our Interim Executive Director Taylor Brown beautifully illustrates what serving Key Changes and our families means to her on her Champion Page: https://t.co/q6UpxnJHfx
DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
Weelcoming Ms. Hembree Poindexter to the KCTS team as our newest #musictherapist! She is an SC native returning home. A Converse grad, she is passionate about working with kids.
We hope that you will love her as much as we already do!
We like to connect our families to community resources too! A sweet thank you from a family who was enrolled in an Autism study!l makes our hearts happy! ❤️❤️❤️
Impromptu storytime with our Director of Development. "Mama Bear, Mama Bear, What Do You See?" was so well received by this friend that several encores were requested!
We are honoring Black History Month by sharing the incredible contributions to our various fields by people of color. First up, Hallie Quinn Brown, the first black speech language pathologist who spent time down the street as the Dean of Allen University! #blackhistorymonth
Many of our kiddos, like Mason, love the attention and sensory stimulation they get from co-treatment! Did you know that our traditional therapies (OT and speech) can be paired with music therapy to add more avenues of exploration in development and growth?
We will be out of the office tomorrow through Monday to be holly and jolly with our families. May your holiday be filled with warmth, love, joy, and the belief that even brighter days are ahead.
Happy holidays from the staff and Board of Key Changes Therapy Services!
The weather outside *IS* frightful, but the services at Key Changes are oh so delightful! Donate today to provide scholarships for our families who are receiving services! https://t.co/EUFDZNXQiL
Hi folks! Reminder for next week, we will be closed December 23-26. We will also be closed on January 2, 2023. Please call Mrs. Peggy if you need to reschedule.
One of our friends brought his "Baby" to get its temperature checked by Mrs. Peggy! We like to make sure that all who enter our clinic are happy and healthy--even the stuffed ones!
Our kiddos are getting in the holiday spirit and helping us thank donors for their generous support! Look at those one-of-a-kind cards! They show so much growth, character, and joy.
From all of us at KCTS, have a safe and happy weekend!
