The concern is that the final price was pushed up by the same bidder who later didn’t pay. From your perspective, what is the fair solution in cases like this?
- @dynadot I recently participated in a domain auction where another bidder kept raising the bids against me throughout the auction. Later, that same bidder apparently did not complete the payment, and the domain was then awarded to me as the next bidder.
Am I the only one struggling with @godaddyauctions ?
The page becomes unresponsive after a few minutes, even after trying different browsers and devices.
How are you using GoDaddy Auctions without issues? 🤔
@godaddyauctions I’ve been a Domain Pro member for months and never received the monthly credit.
Support confirmed there’s an issue with my account.
This isn’t the first benefit I discover by accident and have to claim manually.
What’s happening?
I’m starting to believe that some platforms intentionally create fake high-priced domain sales just for marketing purposes meaning the sales aren’t real.
Thanks.

.ai sales now represent 24% of our premium revenue.
Demand is expanding beyond one-word names:
- 45% are multi-word, story-led brands with a more human and expressive tone
- Leading themes: wellness, fintech, and productivity
The real shift is from talking about what you build to expressing who you are.
Nova (.co) sells for $160,000.00 using NamePros Landers! 🎉
Thanks to 0% commission and $0 fees, that's as high as ~$50,000 extra dollars in the seller's pocket, compared to 30% commission elsewhere.
More details about the sale in threads on NamePros.
Congratulations to the seller!
@hridoyreh Honestly, your tweet doesn’t really say much besides flexing that you spent $12K.
There’s no domain name, no details on whether it’s truly a one-word .com.
Then $12K sounds like a golden deal. Otherwise, it’s just noise.
