@Gothalion As a father… this tracks. You never know what you’re going to have to deal with. Good luck and hope he is ok (he will be, who hasn’t swallowed a few quarters)
The issue is control. today you have options. New/used. Physical/digital. Best Buy/gamestop. Sale/Full price.
If games are all digital, there is less choice and less potential for consumers. A game you could buy for $20 today at GameStop maybe $70 on the ps store.
@OmegaProYT Just curious, I am seeing people talk about doom and gloom for this but games are still releasing just digital. How is this bad for the future of consoles? Like I said just curious.
@TheJobfather__ Daemon lost to Cristin Cole twice in the books. Once on foot and once on horseback. He is high tier but he isn’t elite like Jamie. His danger comes from pairing him with Caraxes. Jamie (pre hand loss) would absolutely destroy him, no contest.
@Wildviol3ts Abt 5 years ago SCIE went all in on live-service. They bought Bungie because Destiny was thriving and they wanted to mimic their success. Then Concord dropped and lost 500 million+. They panicked and started ditching all Live service incubation projects.
@Whatawaste6969@GoatedWomanizer “You know you’re terrible… who do you work for the Witness? You’re very dishonest, everyone knows I hate The witness. I’ve always hated the witness, I was the first to hate him actually. I’ve said that. I said ‘this guy is no good’ I was certainly never on his island 23 times.’”
Every generation since the 80s had access to a semi-affordable console and games. This translated into a lifelong hobby for most gamers. Parents who don’t game today won’t spend $800-1000 for a ps5/xbox.
Kids will pivot to tablets and these brands will die.
