@kateowbridge If schools had been given the chance to take holiday time during lockdown, instead of the directionless school/not school scenario they have been expected to work through, perhaps Teachers might have been more willing to do extra catch up/ child care hours? 🤦‍♂️

@CensoredHead What would be the problem in taking the summer holidays now, having a 4 week “summer term” through August. Take the first week of September to break and start the new term thereafter? 🤷‍♂️

@mikercameron Is the notion of moving the start of the next year back a few weeks to allow this year to be completed for ALL year groups that impossible? I think it’s doable if we can all be flexible!

@Andrew_Adonis How are schools supposed to ensure that children have the supervision and/or equipment needed to receive this “proper” education when they barely have enough resources/support to achieve this in normal circumstances? Why don’t you find something useful to contribute!! 🤦‍♂️😡
