Had Floyd not been pumping himself with fent, he'd still be alive under such a neck restraint. Had Floyd not been fighting with the officers prior, he would not have been pinned. Had Floyd not been lying constantly to the officers up to that point, they might've believed him when he said "I can't breath". While the officer's method of pinning is certainly an aligning factor in Floyd's death through lessening airflow to someone suffering their fent dose, the primary contributor to 85% of things that went wrong is Floyd himself.
