you need to learn to stay away from people who make you mean, crazy or reactive. that's not you or who you want to be. so if they bring that out of you, they've got to go
Life teaches you detachment the hard way. Nothing truly belongs to you. People change, moments pass. Love can be here one day and gone the next. Savor every bit of it while it’s present, but don’t cling too tightly. When things shift, release them. When the energy starts to fade, step back and guard your peace.
Some ppl have already shown you… repeatedly, mind you, specifically, across enough instances that the patterns are undeniable. It’s exactly who they are. To have that conversation would be to require the person to change & you’ve gone past that point where you’d expect that.
The ability to disconnect from a person silently & know that it’ll never be that again, is one of those evolved places of self respect you’ll ever get to. Certain convos aren’t actually conversations. They’re performances of accountability that wont bring accountability
I JUST HEARD SOMEONE SAY
"MAYBE YOU DON'T NEED MORE TIME TO HEAL, MAYBE YOU NEED MORE EXPERIENCES THAT SHOW YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM A DIFFERENT REALTY"
AND, YEAH.
