@LedoPizza in Deep Creek is the 1st Ledo I’ve been to where the cashier did not speak, made me speak to be helped, said nothing else to me as I payed, didn’t show me the pizza, and didn’t offer me peppers/parm cheese. I go to Ledo regularly. This was my first RUDE Ledo experience

@MistiRenteria @AmericanAir This happened to my husband on Friday. He is military was traveling on orders. He missed his flight. It took 3.75hr to get to the front of the line. He allotted 3.5hrs Saturday morning and the line was even longer! Thankfully someone let him up to the front of the line.

@MaghonTaylor my Bean loves Betty. Bean is autistic. I fight the perception that she is somehow imperfect. Betty Confetti is her constant reminder that God makes no mistakes. He takes what others view an imperfections and turns them into something beautiful, just like her!

My daughter and her friends spent the past week at @massresort and they had the time of their lives. They played, laughed, and relaxed. As the mom of a neurodivergent child, I am always happy when I find a place that daughter feels comfortable and herself. We definitely be back.

This is our 4th day at @massresort. This has been the best trip I’ve taken in a while. While my daughter loved Disney, the cruises we have gone on, and our other trips, there is something renewing about the mountain air! My daughter has even made friends around the resort. 🥰

In one moment, I realized that being black, female, and neurodivergent is three strikes in a world of women like the woman who yelled at my Bean today. Black joy is act of rebellion and resistance. Women like Safari Suzan will not steal my daughters joy as long as I am living!

Today was a bittersweet day in my journey of raising a beautiful, Black, neurodivergent child. We went to @VaSafariPark and had an amazing day up until the last 15 minutes when a women decided to scream at my kid for laughing. Why is #blackjoy so offensive?

That alone is huge! She conquered her fears and pet several animals, including a zebra! She was polite despite her expressive receptive language disorder. She was calm while feeding the giraffe, and was yelled out by a stranger for being a normal kid when that is hard for her.
