this car is now up for sale.

on october 9, i lost 2,000 ETH. i thought staring at that empty wallet was the worst part. now i’m putting a price on things i worked so hard to own.

i bought my @Ledger while i was traveling. before buying, i specifically checked that the seller was authorized. i thought i was doing the responsible thing. one less thing to worry about.

now Ledger has confirmed a hidden hardware implant in an affected device linked to the investigation. more of the picture is becoming clear, even though that doesn’t answer every question about my own loss.

but getting answers doesn’t put those ETH back in my wallet. meanwhile, i have decisions to make that can’t wait for another update.

i thought choosing a hardware wallet meant i was protecting the life i’d built. having to sell parts of that life now is a different kind of pain.

i’ve rebuilt before. i’m not done.

but fuck, i really hoped i wouldn’t have to do this again.

It doesn’t matter who runs events like this because the daytrading community is one giant family and I’m grateful to have the platform to connect daytraders from around the world

Trading is a very lonely journey and it’s tough when you don’t know people who trade because we all know we could talk about trading for hours if we wanted (yes we’re losers) so to have that personal connection is so much more of incredible

Dhesi, Shinobi and Key were able to offer some amazing input as all four of us have been in the space for 6+ years now

We’ve been through it all trust me… the only people that aren’t going to make it are the ones that give up too early
