*I'm officially a student of the University of Lagos today. 12 years ago, I had no hope of a future. I was out of school and homeless till @thedestinytrust met me. My story changed ever since. I'm happy and grateful for God's goodness. I thank all the good people who give hope.
Something big is coming.
A challenge. A platform. An opportunity.
What happens when children are given the tools, mentorship, and platform to solve some of the biggest problems facing our communities?
What ideas emerge when the innovators of tomorrow are invited to start building today?
The Kids Innovation Challenge is here again.
Watch this space.

My twin & I are proud beneficiaries. 13yrs ago on the streets seemed impossible, but today we’re undergrads at UNILAG & UI. Forever grateful!

To change the face of education, we must provide safe and dignifying learning spaces where children can learn. We built this school block to meet this need but Nigeria needs 1,107,854 more classrooms to adequately accommodate both current students and out-of-school children. This is why scaling this intervention is a national urgency.
Let's do more together. Partner with us.

After participating in about 15 hackathons, winning 12 across both national and international stages, judging hackathons, and mentoring a full team that went on to win, I’ve learned a lot from both wins and losses.
Some of the hackathons I’ve won include Microsoft-organized hackathons, Càvistà, Squad, HelpMum, Fusion Fest Tech, Cardano, AI for Social Impact, Sui, Remostart, and the Cyber AI Hackathon organized by the American Society of Engineers.
I put together something practical from all of this experience. Real lessons that actually matter in hackathons, from how to approach a problem, build the right team, pitch properly, handle demos, and position your solution in a way judges actually understand.
If you’re participating in hackathons, this will really help you think differently and strategize better.
Good luck in your future hackathons 🚀

Perfection is often the biggest barrier to progress. Every great journey starts with a decision to show up, even when you don’t feel ready. Trust the process, trust God, and keep moving forward.

98% of students educated under our accelerated education programme perform above average in secondary school. 28.58% of them are ranked among the top in their classes. Their success shows that it is possible to deliver 6 years of basic education in 1-3 year(s) for average out-of-school children without major gaps.
This is the goal of our accelerated education programme (AEP) at the Bridge Learning Centre. We are delighted to see that this works and the students are not just catching up but performing excellently and competitively with children taught in conventional schools for the full primary school years.
With the AEP, we can ensure that more students are on par with national standards of education. Thank you for helping us raise the bar.

Lack of care for the growing child is a major factor in limiting access to education and hindering academic success.
For a child, care is the language that stimulates eagerness to learn, it allows the brain to function at a balanced pace and keeps the mind focused.
This is why we make a point of helping them embrace the balance between academic knowledge and a sense of self through community. Your support help us achieve that and we are glad to share with you the significant academic progress made over the last year.
As we move forward, we remain committed to expanding care to reach more children, ensuring that no child is left behind as this remains our core goal.

In 2025, 12 children were newly admitted into university, bringing the total number of children currently in university to 45. 100% of children rescued in 2025 are now stabilised in residential care. 85% of all children under our care performed above average academically. 90% passed UTME/WAEC above the national average.
These outcomes affirm what we have always believed: children thrive best when education is delivered alongside care, stability, and holistic support.

Kehinde Agboola Wrote on X: 👇
I felt tears well up when I saw this.
About 15 years ago, my twin brother and I were those children. We were picked up along Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island by uniformed men, taken to court on false charges, and sent to Oregun Boys Correctional Centre. Life there wasn’t reform, it was pure hell.
What saved us wasn’t enforcement or raids. It was intervention: education, shelter, patience, and people who saw potential where others saw only nuisance.
After we got out, @TheDestinyTrust took us in. They didn’t chase us away, they gave us a home, schooling, and belief in ourselves.
Today, my brother and I are undergraduates at the University of Lagos and University of Ibadan, and we’re both software engineers building a better future.
These children on the streets today can become the same, if given a chance.
Choose intervention over intimidation.
Choose education over detention.
Choose to solve the root problem, not punish the child.
