The NAACP's campaign calls out Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and South Carolina as states to boycott, arguing that the athletic programs of those states' flagship universities are especially reliant on Black athletic talent and should protect Black political interests.

The most largest campaign "funnels" in the last twenty years didn't come from a PR firm. They came from going direct to the audience.
Politics aside…
• Barack Obama built the first "Direct-to-President" funnel. He took donations on his own site and bypassed the traditional gatekeepers.
• Donald Trump won in 2024 with podcasts. Theo Von, Andrew Schulz, Nelk Boys, and Joe Rogan. Side-stepping traditional media.
We live in an era where everyone has a megaphone, which means the "truth" is whatever narrative is loudest and most consistent.
I’m currently in a season where I’m being as loud as possible. I’ve seen what happens when you let other parties control your reputation.
If things go sideways, I want the world to hear directly from me, not through a filtered lens or a leaked email.
Go direct.
@johnrushx@johnrush I agree that there’s a certain quality your product needs to reach; otherwise, distribution won’t work. Users you acquire will drop off and look for other solutions. However, once that threshold is met, distribution matters slightly more.
Lifting heavy weights is proven to work better against depression than any medication
And personally I know why
I just lifted extremely heavy (for my standards), today was squats and deadlifts (with personal trainer)
It's now an hour after and I am mostly unable to think, I am in a state of zen trance silence, there is literally nothing in my brain left
Just an empty space and these words flying through
If I stop writing this it's just silence and nothignness
If I was depressed which I'm not, I wouldn't be able to be depressed right now, because I'm not able to be nothing right now, I barely exist, I just am and that's it
It's hard to explain until you do like really heavy (again for my standards) like above 100kg/200lbs and many reps and you don't get the effect below your bodyweight in my experience
Which makes it hard to explain this to people starting out lifting because it takes a long time to build up to heavy weight safely and then you really see the mental benefits
It's probably similar to runner's high but different?
Lifter's high?
Anyway go try it!
