September 1st. The month that will never be ordinary again.
What I'm about to share isn't just My Story, it's a lesson about Love, Faith, and Allah's perfect timing.
Buckle up for 'Safar-e-Mohabbat' - a 4-week journey.

Chicken and chips for two = £12.
That £12 could be part of the surgery that saves an 8-year-old boy's life tonight 🍗 https://t.co/kiSQy5c8HA

Met @KeysToAysha 's father.
First time seeing him properly, since we got married.
He said, “I need to talk to you.”
I was shy, quiet, didn’t know what to say.
It's just me, myself, and I now.
Every evening, Ginger-bread would wait for me on the windowsill.
We'd cuddle up in bed together. He was my joy and happiness.
While we both waited for @KeysToAysha to return back to the UK...
@HelloAishaUK I didn’t know you had no money that day.
Didn’t know someone else had to help you go back home.
I just thought you’re strong, you’ll manage.
I didn’t realise you were walking away with nothing.
I only had one close work friend I could call. At her local city, I did not have any relatives or close friends.
At 18, I made some stupid decisions @KeysToAysha
Some you know, most you don't.
@KeysToAysha is gone from my life and I don't know what to do.
I'm standing outside her mum's door step, no idea what to do next.
Pocket empty and not enough train fair money to get back home.
Who do I call for money so early on a Sunday morning?
We woke early.
Her mum’s minibus waited outside for Heathrow.
I can’t remember every detail, just the silence.
No proper goodbye, no hug, no tears.
Then she was gone.
I stood in the cold street, bags at my feet, no home, no plan, no her. #DesiLoveStory
She was on my mind all night. Couldn't sleep.
Woke up in the middle of the night sweating, whole body steaming even though the room was cold.
Made dua for her straight away, eyes still closed. It was tahajjud time, when duas are accepted.
After that I was awake until 6am.
💔 Heartbroken.
The woman I made Hijra for, left me.
For love, I left London, my family, my life.
Moved to her world, trusted her world.
Now she’s gone, and I’m standing here wondering if Hijra for love was ever meant to work.
#DesiLoveStory
@HelloAishaUK I thought we’d talk again tomorrow.
I didn’t think “last night together” meant last night forever.
Maybe I was too clouded to see what was really happening.
