Well... Getting flagged for inauthentic behavior and suspended was not pleasant, to say the least.
And trying to appeal twice, only to get rejected, and THEN getting it silently unsuspended?
Truly a bruh moment, if there was one.
When you have this man sound so reasonable considering what transpired (iykyk), it makes you question how far the current administration is from their promises with what they've done in reality.
The world is ending, isn't it? Seven hells...
IGRS selayaknya jadi alat pemberdayaan, bukan pembatasan. 🙏

Sosialisasi ESRB di 2016, saat belum ada IGRS: https://t.co/KE3lc9tkB0
What’s somewhat ironic here is that there are quite a lot of games with adult content, yet the current classification is extremely crude and blind, especially when real-life situations are often far more explicit than what’s shown in games —
If the government and IGRS insist on keeping the “Refused Classification” (RC) rating, then this can be said to go against freedom of expression, even though the RC rating is supported by laws regarding adult content.
The IGRS is a fundamentally broken and failed implementation of a rating system, created by an institution that's completely clueless about the true function of a rating system — which is to serve as a guideline for sellers and consumers, not as a tool for censorship.
Update: Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs made a statement on IGRS website
No mention of Refused Classification whatsoever.

Adults aged 21 and above have the right to buy any game they want, as it's their right, regardless of its IGRS rating or that from any other rating system.
The IGRS shouldn't be enforced at all, because it will only become a tool for the government to censor content or a mechanism to generate state revenue through certain schemes — and that's NOT the function of a game rating body.
- Have they played games across a wide variety of genres?
If they’ve never even played games, then their qualifications should absolutely be questioned.
- Have they ever actually played games?
- Have they ever bought and played games from Steam, PS Store, Play Store, App Store, or Xbox Game Store?
- Have they logged more than 30 hours per game title on the games they bought?
They were carefully developed based on the ESRB model and then adjusted to fit their own local laws and cultural contexts. Meanwhile IGRS? They didn't even do that.
These are the real questions right now:
- Who exactly developed the IGRS classification system?
It’s not even a national government body — it’s a non-profit organization run by the industry itself, yet it became the de facto standard across North America. If you want to take PEGI and CERO as examples, even they weren’t just copied and pasted.
The current iteration of IGRS, along with the related institutions, is COMPLETELY UNFIT FOR IMPLEMENTATION because of their total failure to understand the core purpose of a game rating body.
Take the ESRB for example.
