Dear Affable Students of @KNUSTGH,
As fellow students who walk the same paths, use the same routes, and face the same daily challenges on campus, I speak to you with sincerity and openness.
Leadership, as many rightly say, is not about noise but rather it is about results.
When the bridge around the SDA Church (Engineering Gate route) became dangerous and inaccessible, it wasn’t just a structure that was affected; it was our safety, our convenience, and our peace of mind.
At that critical moment, I (OBENG KELVIN FOSU) did not wait for complaints to pile up. I did not shift blame or offer mere assurances. I stepped forward, mobilized support, and took action.
Today, the bridge has been fixed.
GOOD MORNING #KNUST
THE WEEK AHEAD WILL BE WONDERFUL, GOD WILL SHAPE OUR PATH AND WE SHALL BE VICTORIOUS IN ALL OUR DEALINGS.
ENJOY YOUR DAY.
Once Again, My name is OBENG KELVIN FOSU and I want to be your next @KNUSTGH@knust_src President '26.
Advocating for the welfare of students doesn’t begin or end with an election. Whether I win or lose, my commitment to pushing for students interests remains the same. The election is only a platform; the mission is service. After all, it’s service beyond self. The bridge would be attended to
Good day, lovely people of KNUST.
The temporary bridge I constructed earlier this first semester along the SDA stretch near the Engineering Gate has come to my attention following concerns raised by students.
Yesterday, I visited the location to inspect the condition of the bridge. It was observed that the bridge has been heavily used by motorists and riders, despite not being designed for such traffic. This continuous pressure gradually weakened parts of the structure.
The recent heavy rains further worsened the situation, resulting in minor damage to sections of the concrete and surrounding components.
I want to assure everyone that the engineer has been contacted, and immediate steps are underway to repair and strengthen the structure. We are committed to restoring it properly so it can serve its intended purpose safely and effectively.
Thank you for your concerns and continued support.
OBENG KELVIN FOSU
Your Next Knust Src President’26

Had a great conversation with KNUST students this past weekend on leadership and purpose.
We discussed what it means to lead beyond titles and why the skills and experiences we gain outside of politics can be some of our greatest assets.
Every journey is different, and that’s often what makes your leadership unique. Thank you for the engaging discussion.
Good day @KNUSTGH,
I am Obeng Kelvin Fosu, and my story is pretty simple. Our student body must come first. This campaign is not about personal ambition or narrow interests; it is about service, unity, and real results.
Under the banner PAMOJA which means TOGETHERNESS; my team and I are committed to rebuilding trust between our SRC and every student on campus.
We will take deliberate, practical steps to address the issues that matter most from academic support, campus welfare, transparent leadership, and inclusive representation.
Greatness begins with a single step. We are taking that step now which is steadily, purposefully, and with your needs as our guide. If you want an SRC that listens, acts, and puts KNUST students first, join us.
God will see us through it and we shall win.
Please, in all you do, in all you think of, and in everything you stand for, remember this: Please don't forget to smile.
Again, I am OBENG KELVIN FOSU (PAMOJA)
