@HarrisonTrack@jessekohls Such great words to hear that are often buried in the negativity of our media! There are students doing the right things and showing life skills that will make this world better!

@ShereeWLWT@WKRQ Jen Jordon has been a great advocate for my son Brody who has Down syndrome and has pursued a DJ career. Jacob and Brody are showing that it the abilities that matter not the disability! Thanks for your advocacy!
Teachers don't leave because it's hard. Teachers are some of the hardest working professionals I know. They leave because the amount of work no longer is comparable to pay, respect, support, and value that they deserve for the workload.
Admin, take time next week to
*say hello to staff/students in the hall
* check on teachers, especially if they have life events they’re dealing with
* sit in on classes & leave note of praise
* let staff know you appreciate them
* ask what staff needs to succeed
* encourage all
Teacher candidates in our Special Education program this fall created t-shirts for their cohort to spread a message about inclusion and to show their love and respect for three of their professors featured on the back: Dr. Missy Jones, Kelly Flynn, and Mindy D’Amico. #NorseUp
