This is so strange. My parents also used to tell us how cold June ‘76 was.
It was “unusually colder that day”.
After June 16 , school kids were still disappearing after being picked up by SAP.
My grandmother pulled her out of the township school and sent her to a boarding school in KZN.
My mother, I think she was just pondering, mentioned that the weather yesterday reminded her of 1976 and the riots.
She says June 16 was incredibly cold and there was a small sadness to the passing statement
Mzansi Fam. Please help me find a job. I’m willing to work, to learn, to show up day. All I need is one opportunity, one door opened by someone who sees me. I have a certificate in QMS ISO 9001, CompTIA A+ Diploma in HR.

Unemployment is having me. The irony while I am a Talent Acquisition Specialist with over 13 years experience.
I’ve fallen behind on my bond and my daughter’s school fees. Maxed out on my savings.
I’d appreciate any job referral or a donation towards my daughter’s fees.
@moanerleaser She should look into why it bothers her that the said person is able to live a dual lifestyle. It shouldn’t bother her this much that the said person is able to just be themselves outside of being a mom.
Is there a way the government can help with the burial of someone who died with no family? Only a mother who has an alcohol addiction? They both do not have IDs and this poor girl’s corpse has been in the government mortuary for almost a month.
The late Palesa Madiba (21 )🕊️🕊️a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Johannesburg, tragically disappeared in 2013. Her murder later became a powerful symbol in South Africa’s ongoing battle against gender based violence (GBV).
She went missing after spending a long weekend at the Soweto home of her close friend, Tshidi Mkhwanazi, in Phiri. Following a two year search, her remains were discovered buried in a shallow grave in the backyard of the same property, after a neighbour spotted a bone sticking out of the soil.
Dumisani Mkhwanazi, the uncle of Madiba’s friend, was arrested and charged with the crime. Court evidence revealed that he had assaulted and strangled her during an attempt to steal her cellphone. In February 2021, the Gauteng High Court sentenced him to an effective 31 years in prison, with the following concurrent sentences👇🏿
20 years for murder, 8 years for defeating the ends of justice, 10 years for possession of an unlicensed firearm, 3 years for theft of the cellphone, and 2 years for possession of ammunition.
