MMC welcomed a community to the City of Ekurhuleni as it was previously under City of Joburg and have committed to deliver basic services while still awaiting permanent solutions.

MMC proceeded to allocate 20 service stands in Chris Hani Ikageleng project, Etheathwa.

The MMC for Human Settlements in the City of Ekurhuleni, Cllr Kgopelo Hollo @KgopeloHollo , continues to hand over newly built houses to the community of the Lindelani informal settlement outside Benoni.

The Alliance Project, which aims to deliver 1,639 standalone houses, was primarily designed to address the needs of the Lindelani informal settlement, which has existed for more than 30 years.

Thus far, the MMC has allocated over 630 houses from the project to the community.
