Historic day for Somalia’s state building project. Time will allow us to this turning point which direction will it lead to 🇸🇴. We hope good days are coming insha Allah for our brothers.
For time being, congratulations Mr. President.
Today I signed the newly amended Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia, approved by both Houses of the Federal Parliament. This historic step ends the provisional era, strengthens state institutions, protects citizens’ rights, and advances Somalia’s democratic future.
@GPX_Press This is long time ago and issue has been resolved by @flyethiopian so do not make it what happened just now it was close to two years ago @grok can you verify this?
Same ending as last year’s drama — no lessons learned from these jokes. And now they’re using shaal as main tool to avoid any accountability to happen while claiming it’s part of the ‘Somali state‑building project’
Horaa loo soconaa kulaa, iyadoo la indho la’a yahay miyaa?
@SuldanMohamed_ Agree wiz u. This is purely pathetic decision to announce building states and bringing conflict to brothers in this area without thinking about the issues bn them. Federal government is responsible for this mess
@SuldanMohamed_@HassanSMohamud Recognition what you’re saying isn’t everybody’s business. HSM as head of state has also other issues to deal with others. It can be just one of them.
I am not sure that Egypt will be in Somalia protection as they said. But their interest is also there which could possibly be aligned with current Somalia interests but could also go against it, who knows . No nation can survive dependent on others. I agree ur last point
#Egypt has broadened its military mission in #Somalia after #Israel's recognition of #Somaliland, with the protection of President @HassanSMohamud’s government now a top objective, sources have told The National. They said Egypt's latest move in the Horn of Africa nation reflected fears that Israel's recognition of Somaliland last month could give it a foothold in a region that Cairo sees as vital to its national security.

PM Abiy Laid thr corner stone African’s largest airport in Bishoftu. Over capacity of 60 million passengers per year in first phase of the project when completed.

To sustain Ethiopia’s rapid aviation growth and Ethiopian Airlines’ expanding global network, a new mega hub is being developed alongside Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, which is nearing its expanded capacity of 25 million passengers annually. This multi-airport strategy aims to future-proof Ethiopia’s role as Africa’s leading air transport gateway.
Bishoftu International Airport (BIA) will be the largest aviation infrastructure project in Africa’s history. It aligns with Ethiopia’s national economic reforms, industrialization agenda, and long-term aviation strategy. The project will strengthen Ethiopian Airlines’ global competitiveness, enhance Africa’s connectivity under the AfCFTA framework, expand trade and tourism corridors, and position Ethiopia as a premier intercontinental hub.
Located about 40 km southeast of Addis Ababa at an altitude of 1,910 meters, Bishoftu offers optimal conditions for aircraft performance and efficient handling of both origin-destination and transit passengers. Proximity to the capital ensures seamless integration with the existing aviation ecosystem. The first phase of the airport will handle 60 million passengers per year, with an ultimate master plan capacity of 110 million passengers annually, placing Ethiopia among the world’s top aviation hubs.
Modern farming practices are reshaping agriculture in Ethiopia, helping farmers increase yields, improve efficiency, and adapt to changing conditions. From improved seeds to better irrigation and technology, these innovations are strengthening livelihoods across rural communities. Agriculture continues to be the backbone of the nation’s economy, driving growth, supporting prosperity, and ensuring food security for millions of Ethiopians.
