Crazy to watch old, "low-quality" OVAs from before you were born and see better animation than almost anything that comes out now. Maybe it's not fair to compare an OVA to a TV anime, but consider how much easier the animation process is in general today.

Maybe he felt a biiit regretful of what he did to Titus (but kept it inside) for all we know when he said “You’ll only find true peace once you’re accepted back in Ultramarines” I feel like he’s also referring to his own peace 🤷🏼‍♂️
