Last June my mother passed away!!

I'm honestly still in shock, it's hard to imagine that it's even real. I don't know if I'll ever be able to come to terms with it.

She was my best friend and the light of my life.

Honoured to speak at the 3rd Intl Symposium on Social Justice in ELT at Bahçeşehir Uni, Istanbul. Grateful to Ufuk Keleş for making space for urgent conversations. My session focused on #Gaza, education, and curriculum under fire.
Met brilliant people—@tomaszjohn84, @darioluisbaneg1, @PaulaAlcBar, who reminded me that solidarity can start in a conversation. We laughed, talked politics, and shared space honestly.
