I haven't made a roblox game in ~5 months. I'm confused about the publishing requirements. Why are some people saying I need plus? The requirements for me say I only need ID verified, good standing, camera age check and 2fa. Someone help me understand this, thanks.

Roblox devs, Here is the most underrated way to hook your players:

Instead of giving the players rewards for doing nothing, intentionally leave an easy to find "game-breaking bug" that gives a lot of stuff/a big boost to the player.

When players find that bug, they will feel special, have an ego boost and a dopamine rush. That alone is the biggest hook you can have in a game.

The difference? Players are used to getting hooked with random rewards: Not provoking anything.

When you make them feel like they discovered a secret way to get rewards, it sparks curiosity and a dopamine rush cause most players probably never found a singular bug in a game.

Most people might not understand where I'm going with this but all I know is that the smarter population will.

I'm 100% convinced Roblox wants to build an ecosystem where they no longer have to rely on paying developers their share, and instead have AI generate a huge portion of the games on the platform. If they pull that off, their revenue would explode, but it would also mean thousands of developers losing opportunities as AI replaces work that people are doing today.

Not to mention, it'll lack that creativity that actual human creators have, and show a DRASTIC decrease in overall quality.

It seems like Roblox is intentionally making the requirements for creating and publishing games more difficult, slowly pushing smaller developers out of the ecosystem one group at a time.
