@sitkamedia Can someone explain why the Canadian establishment is so gung ho promoting reconciliation when they know it will dearly cost all Canadians? Is it because of ideology or because the establishment finds juicy grifting opportunities in reconciliation?
@Ashl75 Artificial protein will greatly help the poor and young in poor countries. It will help poor countries to advance and become self-reliant. Let us not dismiss technology before we understand it.
@JonHaidt@pewresearch But but but, they need to immediately find out where the anti-Trump protest is to join. How can the teachers teach them to be a morally superior activist while we prevent their activism?
@FraserInstitute But but but, how would a bureaucrat justify her job if she is not coming up with a way to license economic activity? As a public servant she can't be fired or demoted. Do you really want her to get paid to simply sit in home all day watching TV, wasting all this human potential?
@mario4thenorth "governing" by a Liberal means how can we structure Canada so that the establishment and the monopoly capitalists can exploit the consumers and working class and small businesses better with higher prices and higher taxes and more red-tape.
@MarkCarneyEgo "civilized discussion" by a Liberal means how can we structure Canada so that the establishment and the monopoly capitalists can exploit the consumers and working class and small businesses better with higher prices and higher taxes and more red-tape.
@Weird_Canadian These conservatives don't understand how progressive and environmentalist and pro-reconciliation the crony capitalist SNC-Lavalin is. If they did, they would join the establishment and sing their praises like good Liberals, NDP, and Greens.
But but but, if we let housing prices fall, we will hurt the banks and the developers who bet on rising prices. How can we let our establishment friends and crony and monopoly corporations down like this? Why do we want to stop the establishment from exploiting Canadian consumers with higher prices and higher taxes? The establishment contribute to the environment, to the indigenous, to socialism, they love the bureaucrats and cartels, and are very progressive.
Well, religious and ideological people like you should be terrified from pro-science, secular, liberal and democratic, pro-human rights and rational people like me. Equal say in everything is not a human right.
Do you deny someone with a real productive job is contributing more to society and understands better how society works than a 20 year old uneducated unproductive and freeloading activist with no knowledge of economics and history?
For you to believe that the average streetbums can let's say build a hospital as good as a society of doctors, nurses, engineers, and builders terrifies me and is morally wrong. I'm X-gen.
Carney is part of the international establishment trying to secure their gains, income, and privileges from Trump. He is not there to save the Canadian economy. He is there to convince Trump to respect the Canadian establishment that has gone progressive.
The communists and the fascists in Germany 1920s were at loggerhead as they were competing to rule. But their rank and file were in flux between the two parties. The Nazis roots were in the anti-capitalist trade unions and the leftwing working class. And they were quite woke prior to 1931. They are both collectivist, socialist and anti-capitalist - national socialist and international socialist. Both communists and fascists eliminated dissidents and committed genocide. Both had concentration camps and mass slaughter. They both carried the same policies of totalitarianism and hatred of individualism, liberalism, democracy and capitalism. Two sides of the same coin. Checkout the horseshoe theory of political philosophy.
When you have an educated and productive individual with a real job contributing to the flourishment of society, versus an unproductive street bum or activist that is willfully on benefits taking away from society and contributing little or nothing, then it would be morally wrong to equate them politically. You can label that what you wish, but parasitism is never morally right and is never good for society. A person without a real job (such as a useless bureaucrat) doesn't even know how society works and will always vote for the wrong representative.
Let's not be religious-like. Did your god rule that everyone must have 1 vote - I wonder? People who work and produce real goods and services are contributing to the betterment of society and the flourishment of society. You have to reward them politically and socially. So they get 2 votes. But the rich get only 1 vote as they are protected from hardship and poverty.
The middle class is about 50% of society. It is not a class of few people like billionaires. If you think there is no difference between a hard working productive individual and an uneducated street bum or activist grifter on public benefits, then SMH.
@JimYoungBurlin1@thefindlayfiles@KerryLynneFindl@Teresa_Wat I agree. But I have met some Chinese students, probably returning to China, that are anti-capitalist and pro-communism, who ideologically hate Canada because of its liberalism and democracy.
But both governments are responsible for red-tape, overregulation, taxes that makes goods more expensive, and government encouraged and supported cartel making where a few large corporations get to control the market and raise their prices resulting in inefficiency, waste, unionization, money going to social and environmental causes (GSE), DEI, hiring based on intersection and not merit, payments to first nations, etc.
