If not, the character doesn't have a voice yet. They have words.

Most writers don't have a continuity problem.

They have a memory problem.

Your character's eye colour changes on page 203. Their dead sister becomes a brother. Their accent appears and vanishes.

Not because you're a bad writer. Because you're managing 80,000 words in your head.

That's an infrastructure problem, not a talent problem.

In response to this post, just notice how the mentally sick Israeli supporters will try to play victim after Israel has murdered over 50,000 civilians and more than 10,000 children, raped men and women.
