People keep asking me, why I watch cricket? It's because of matches like these. Chasing 370 in 4th ing in 5th day against India is extraordinary. You can't ask for a better win. Cricket has changed so much since covid, specially test cricket.

While all are distracted by the Iran's news, I have just read three heartbreaking posts from Gaza:

1- I crave a piece of bread
2- Pray for us to get a bag of flour
3- I am hungry

The world is soulless and lives on blood thirst and warmongering.

For the love of god, can someone stop Israel from KILLING DOZENS OF PALESTINIANS EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Will Western media even cover this??

It isn’t just Palestinian journalists who’ve been targeted and killed by the Israelis. It’s their wives, their husbands, their children.

[Scott Ritter @RealScottRitter]

An act of theater.

Trump’s big mouth had boxed him into a corner.

Iran wouldn’t play his game.

So he had to bomb Iran to save face.

He bombed two empty facilities that had been previously struck by Israel.

And he bounced six bombs off an indestructible facility (Firdos), claiming destruction despite the opposite being the case.

That’s it.

A “contained” strike.

A nothing burger.

And this is the man whose supporters call the greatest leader in the world.

He’s a national disgrace.

[Glenn Greenwald @ggreenwald]

Iran just became the 8th Muslim-majority country that the US has bombed in the last 15 years, from Obama to Trump to Biden to Trump:

1) Afghanistan
2) Iraq
3) Syria
4) Libya
5) Somalia
6) Pakistan
7) Yemen
8) Iran
