@roguegambit97 "stop making what you hate your entire personality" is exactly what turns Magneto into a villain. Those who limit their point of view with their rage also limit their capability as a decent human beings.
@roguegambit97 Is the character right behind the Polaris Beast or Nightcrawler? If so There is a scene trailer includes Beast, Nightcrawler and Rouge near the engine of the Apocalypse's ship. It appears they will connect Apocalypse to savageland somehow.
Erdal Vahid:
"Aziz Yıldırım, '22 Haziran'a kadar transferleri yetiştireceğiz, hatta benim dönemimde bile ilk kez olacak' dedi. Ortada hâlâ hoca yok. Sayın Başkan ve yönetim seçim bittiğinden beri kimse yüzünüzü görmedi."
'DR.STONE' Manga Artist Boichi shared his thoughts on readers who say they cannot afford manga, discussing the financial struggles of both fans and creators while highlighting issues of access and pricing
"Most Japanese readers do not have much money either. Most Japanese mangaka do not have much money. Most aspiring manga artists do not have much money."
"Many readers carefully save a small allowance to buy a single tankōbon volume."
"They do it because they want to support creators. They do it because they want manga to continue existing. They do it because if nobody pays, manga cannot continue to be made."
"Manga did not become successful because Japan was rich. Manga grew during the 1950s, when Japan was still a very poor country."
"It grew because people chose to buy manga. Because they valued it. Because they believed it was worth supporting."
"Of course, there are exceptions. There are always exceptions. Some people genuinely face circumstances far more difficult than most of us can imagine. I do not want to dismiss those realities."
"I began my career as a poor mangaka in a country that was still poor. I care deeply about people who struggle financially. I am on their side."
"Many creators sacrificed comforts in order to draw manga."
"The real problem is not whether people have money to buy manga. The real problem is that many people have no practical way to buy it."
"Officially licensed foreign editions are often far too expensive for readers around the world. I believe that is a genuine problem."
Roy Keane on Turkey losing 2-0 to Australia national soccer team in their World Cup opener:
🗣️ “I don't want to hear excuses. Before the match, everyone was talking about Turkey as if the three points were already in the bag. Well, football doesn't care about predictions.
Australia looked like a team playing for their lives. Turkey looked like a team waiting for something to happen. That's the difference. One side competed, the other side expected.
What annoys me most is the attitude. You can forgive mistakes. You can forgive missed chances. But you cannot forgive a lack of urgency at a World Cup.
Australia won the physical battle, the mental battle, and in key moments they won the football battle too. That's embarrassing if you're Turkey because they were supposed to be the team making the statement tonight.
Some players will look at the tactics, some will blame luck, and some will point fingers elsewhere. Nonsense. Start by looking in the mirror. World Cups are not won by talent alone.
The harsh reality is this: Australia arrived believing they could win. Turkey arrived believing they should win. One mindset creates history. The other creates headlines like this.”
@SubbedScholar Biased media is as old as it gets. I don't think they are alike at all we're at the same page on this. There is a fundamental difference between them. Magneto refrains from hurting humans, whereas Cyclops has to struggle with himself to do harm even if it's necessary.
I'm watching original Xmen animated series again before the next season of Xmen97 and I'm starting to think that Rogue Magneto thing develops too fast, too quickly. It kind of damages what they build for Rogue in 5 seasons. Rouge I'm watching is not this kind of a women.
@SubbedScholar This is interesting because I find that the current run highlights what the X-Men mean to me; I realized that I love the family aspect of the team more than anything, which is why I am really enjoying the current run of Uncanny X-Men so far.
@SubbedScholar That's true. In terms of Xmen, their purpose was always to support Charles drem. Therefore, it was too fluid and depended on Charles. I think current run is all about them finding their own purposes.
@SubbedScholar In the current run we can see that. Cyclops and Rogue leads two fundamentally different Xmen. Former is built on duty of protecting mutants, latter is built on protecting family.
@SubbedScholar In terms of Scoot I kinda disagree with you. He is a duty orientated person. He still is. However, this kind of bulletproof dedication requires belief. For a long time he believed Charles Xavier. He started to change the moment his belief is shaken and it's inevitable.
