On 27th Nov 2024, blood of peaceful patriotic Pakistanis stained the streets of Islamabad. 🩸
While the military did a quick job of cleaning it up and hiding the countless bodies riddled with bullet holes gifted by those who swore to protect us, the blood remains imprinted on the hearts of not only the 🇵🇰 people, but many more around the world.
The blood of these martyrs further flames the fire within us. 🔥
We will continue to prove that we are a peaceful yet resilient people, armed with the power of knowledge and strategy, and that ideologies are heavier than swords. 🖊️
We will continue fighting for justice, not with stones or violence, but with our voices, our wallets, and our collective action. ⚖️
We are focusing our struggle on international platforms, mobilizing global support, and economically empowering ourselves by stopping remittances and boycotting military products. 💵
Together, we continue to rise, and will soon see military that is subservient to the people, like it was always supposed to be. ✌🏻

For now Imran Khan sits in a seven-by-eight-foot cell, with only an exercise bike and a few books for company. But the former prime minister could still have a hand in the fate of Pakistan’s leadership https://t.co/xOv7t2XwLs
Lawyer Salman safdar says Imran Khan has been in complete isolation for 7 months in prison, stating there is no one present to even respond to his “salaam.” This raises serious concerns over his detention conditions and human treatment standards.
A teenager holding a white flag shot down from a quadcopter in his own home. A newborn baby shot in the head while breastfeeding inside a tent. These are some of the horrific accounts of Israel’s targeting of Palestinian children from the UN’s latest report. @mehdirhasan shares:
As Asim Munir, Pakistan’s military chief, seeks to project strength abroad, militant violence in his country is the worst it has been in a decade https://t.co/ib76cLrfnd
We have seen Field Marshal Ayub Khan, General Zia-ul-Haq, and General Pervez Musharraf fawning over and embracing their American masters in much the same way — only to witness their tragic and dreadful ends.
General Asim Munir’s fate will be no different. History is ruthless!
🚨🚨Bushra Bibi’s family agreed not to publicly discuss details of their meetings with her, nor politicise them, on the understanding that they would be granted regular access. However, it has now been four weeks since they were last allowed to see her.
During their last meeting, the family were deeply distressed by her condition and cried for days afterwards. They described significant weight loss and serious eye-health concerns. One of her eyes is stitched closed, while the sight in the other is deteriorating. They also stated that there have been serious delays in receiving medical attention and that prison conditions, as well as the treatment of certain staff membersparticularly a woman named MARIAM—have contributed to her mental suffering. A gutter outside her cell is deliberately kept open, making her cell unbearable and infested with insects.
Bushra Bibi has also reportedly said that Imran Khan’s conditions are similarly concerning and that he continues to suffer from ongoing eye and health problems. According to her, he refuses to complain because of the man that he is.
Regardless of political views, all detainees are entitled to proper medical care, humane treatment, and regular access to their families. This is a serious violation of basic human dignity and internationally recognised human rights standards. This situation requires urgent attention, transparency, and accountability.
Yesterday, our family met with KP ministers at the Islamabad High Court. We held a detailed discussion on the steps being taken to restore all of Imran Khan’s legal and lawful prison rights.
During the meeting, Ministers provided the following update:
1. There will be no surplus budget, as Imran Khan has consistently directed that all available funds be utilized for the development and uplift of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
2. The KP Government will not sign any agreement to transfer the Rs. 175 billion requested by the Federal Government unless the following demands are met:
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must receive its full share for the merged districts (formerly FATA) for the current fiscal year, amounting to approximately Rs. 300 billion. These funds are essential for the economic development and stability of the merged areas.
No agreement will be signed until all of Imran Khan’s legal and lawful rights are fully restored, including
1. The immediate transfer of Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for proper diagnosis, examination, and treatment by qualified specialists.
2. An immediate end to Imran Khan’s eight-month isolation and solitary confinement.
a) Restore weekly meetings with 6 family members, 6 members of his legal team, and 6 friends (political associates)
b) Restore his weekly phone calls with his sons.
c) Restore his access to books, newspapers, and other reading material.
These are the basic legal and human rights that must be respected and restored without further delay.
@ashoswai ...exactly what they think of him. And they have. There are records of all this available online. If you have never seen all that or know any of this, it means you're not qualified to talk on this topic since your knowledge and research is clearly lacking. (Part 4, the last)
@ashoswai ...the familes of, blocking assets, and even killing those who speak againt him or his mistress Maryam Nawaz. DESPITE that, Pakistanis abroad try to find his l hotel/location when he travels so they can go look him in the eye and tell him... (Part 3)
We have received reports that Imran Khan was again taken to PIMS in the early hours of 15 June. We found out through a tweet by Barrister Gohar on the morning of 15 June.
We reject any medical report generated by PIMS regarding Imran Khan’s condition. The same institution has previously made questionable claims, including the assertion that Imran Khan had recovered 90% of his eyesight. Imran Khan himself rejected these claims when his lawyer later met him at Adiala Jail.
A fundamental question remains unanswered: Why does Imran Khan require a fifth injection?
We do not accept the government’s version of events. We demand that Imran Khan be examined and treated by independent, qualified specialists at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. This is an urgent and immediate priority.
A full bench court order permits six family members to meet Imran Khan every Tuesday. Yet over the past eight months, the authorities have largely violated this order. My sister, Dr. Uzma Khan, has only been allowed to meet him a few times, and her last meeting took place on 2 December, 2025.
We reject the government’s continued use of isolation and deprivation as tools of pressure against Imran Khan. Today, we expect all six family members to be allowed to meet him in accordance with the court’s order.
The denial of Imran Khan’s rights is not merely a political issue; it is a clear violation of both the jail manual and High Court orders.
According to the jail manual, Imran Khan is entitled to:
1. A weekly telephone call with his sons.
2. A weekly meeting with family members.
3. A weekly meeting with his legal counsel.
4. Access to books and reading material.
5. Access to television and newspapers.
6. Access to proper medical treatment and regular medical check-ups.
7. Notification to immediate family members before any medical procedure is carried out.
In addition, High Court full bench orders provide that:
1. Imran Khan must be allowed to speak with his sons by telephone.
2. Six family members and six lawyers may meet him every Tuesday.
3. Six friends, including party representatives, may meet him every Thursday.
We demand the immediate restoration of all of Imran Khan’s lawful rights as a prisoner, with access to independent and professional medical treatment in presence of family as the highest and most urgent priority.
