I think it’s important to note that Denise Gough, who played Dedra, has been a loud and consistent voice advocating for Palestine since the beginning of the genocide.

I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been playing a character who is contributing to the same atrocities that you’re trying to fight against in real life. Denise is amazing and I hope fans separate the character from the person.

She may have played a member of the empire but in real life she’s a rebel.
