Everyone is excited about AI videos. But hereโs what you're missing -
AI removes execution.
It does NOT add judgment.
And product videos are 90% judgment.
What to say.
What not to say.
What actually matters.
Thatโs where we come in.
Everytime a new model is released
1. Coders are fucked
2. Editors are fucked.
3. Motion designer are fucked.
4. Strategist are fucked.
5. Sales people are fucked.
6. Hr is fucked.
With next models humanity is gonna fucked. ๐
@ajith_io While you're impressed and so am i. the question is what does your target audience or your potential customers have to say about it ?
Imagine me pitching you a service with this video. Would you trust it? would you buy it?
AI just made it easy to create videos.
Now the real problem starts -
Most of them look goodโฆ but say nothing.
A product video isnโt slides with transitions.
Itโs:
โ who is this for
โ why should they care
โ why now
Miss this = youโre just shipping motion, not meaning.
As a tech founder, i would be excited about it.
1. Cheap AF
2. Looks cool sometimes, but majorly more of PPT's on steroids.
3. Superfast turnaround times.
But the down side -
1. No one understands the product. You lose potential customers.
2. Sometimes boring to watch. The pacing, the music, the sound effects. If not right, again you loose attention.
3. Feels like a demo, not a story. People donโt remember demos.
4. Too feature-heavy. No โwhy should I care?โ moment.
gaps -
1. Need to know the terminologies of video to make it good. Not make it pop, or make it catchy.
2. No narrative thinking. Just screens stitched together.
3. No audience clarity. Founders build for themselves, not for the viewer.
conclusion - cheap + fast gets you a video. clear + intentional gets you users.

To the founder about to pay for a video when the goal is "we just want a video":
If you don't know whether you need a launch video, product demo, or explainer, a video won't solve it.
Figure out what problem you're actually solving before paying for frames.
Many tech founders who are done building the product and now looking into marketing they go like - "we just want a video".
But for us it is like walking into a pharmacy and asking for "medicine."
Let me break it down for you -
1. Go for launch video - If it is for people who don't know you exist.
2. Go for a product demo- if is for people evaluating if it actually works.
3. Go for a explainer video - if people confused by the problem.
