Dragon Tale Dev Update #4🐉✨
Me, @KhaozHT and @KMoD_One are working hard to bring you the very first playable version of Dragon Tale (our Dragon Ball mod for Hytale) very soon!
In the meantime, here’s a quick look at the current development status 👇
🛠️ Crafting & Recipes
We’re currently working on various crafting ingredients and expanding the recipe system to make progression feel rewarding and cohesive.
I’m also attaching a proof of concept (Made my Khaoz, go follow them for more of this!) in the image below to give you a small preview of how it’s shaping up
⚔️ Special Weapons in Development
We’re currently working on several iconic weapons, including:
• The Galactic Patrol Blaster
• The Power Pole
• Trunks’ Sword
More unique weapons are planned as development continues.
👾 Entities & Animations Focus
Right now, a huge part of our work is focused on entity development and their animations — making sure everything feels alive, dynamic and faithful to the Dragon Ball vibe.
🌱 Saibamen Implemented
The Saibamen are already in-game and will play a key role in progression and early combat encounters.
🦖 Wildlife & Fauna
We’ve added multiple animals and creatures to enrich the world — including dinosaurs and fish to make exploration more immersive.
🟢 Namek Mobs Completed
All mobs model for Namek have been finalized and are ready to bring the planet to life!
🎨 Xenoverse-Style Customization & Races
I’m actively working on a deep customization system inspired by Dragon Ball Xenoverse, with the help of the Wardrobe mod.
And I can officially confirm: Dragon Tale will feature playable races!
More details about this system are coming very soon and I’ll have some exciting news for Content Creators to share in the next few days — stay tuned!
