Honestly, that feels pretty damn good. First time I’ve had people actually use something I built.
Let me know what you guys think

I built Ply.👻
Your apps forget what you were thinking. Ply doesn’t.
A native Mac app that keeps your thoughts attached to the work they came from.
Made the launch film with Opus 5.5.
Hey Leon,
We apologize for not correctly attributing your work, this was a miss on our part.
What you see is a 1:1 recreation made with Motion with the original replit video as reference.
It was not a pixel-level recreation. The system actually decomposed the original video into a set of motion design principles which were then used for recreation.
References are powerful for helping articulate what you want in a video without necessarily knowing how to describe it. But they should serve as inspiration, not be copied exactly. That was missed here.
Going forward, we will work closely with any motion designers or creators for proper attribution and otherwise share only original work.
We can also take this post down or provide proper credits, whichever you’d prefer.

@maomao000211 A combination of both. Active window tracking gives us the baseline context, while accessibility APIs and app-specific signals let us get more granular when possible.
The tricky part tbh is making that feel invisible to the user.
Building a high converting app onboarding flow is hard..
So I built a Claude Skill that does it for me
Instead of spending hours figuring out the right questions and pain points… now it's done in 5 minutes
Just point it at your codebase and it does the rest
Questionnaires. Custom plans. App demos. The exact strategy used by Cal AI ($1M/mo) and Mob ($100k/mo)
It's the App Onboarding Questionnaire skill and it's available on github here:
