SA STARTUP TACKLES ROAD SAFETY
A new South African startup, RoadMind AI, has launched a technology platform designed to improve road safety and transport efficiency across Africa.
Founded in late 2025, the company uses artificial intelligence to detect road hazards early and predict vehicle maintenance problems before breakdowns occur. Unlike many global solutions, RoadMind is built specifically for African conditions, where road data is often limited and infrastructure uneven.
The platform combines software with custom-built sensors that collect real-time information directly from vehicles and roads. This data helps fleet operators, insurers and authorities reduce accidents, cut costs and improve planning.
With road crashes costing economies billions each year, the startup aims to make transport safer, cheaper and more reliable.

Your attempt to frame Julius Malema as a "sell-out" and "flip-flopper" doesnโt just miss the mark, it completely ignores the documented consistency of his ideology and the blatant, verifiable hypocrisy of his detractors, including the very parties you seem to defend.
Malemaโs Anti-Imperialist Stance is Consistent and Documented. Julius Malema and the EFF have maintained a consistent, uncompromising position against Western imperialism, particularly the administrations of Donald Trump. Malema has repeatedly and publicly condemned Trumpโs attempts to interfere in South Africaโs sovereignty, including his support for right-wing groups like AfriForum and his false claims of "white genocide". Not the MK Party.
Trump sanctioned Malema and the EFF not due to "corruption," but specifically because of their unwavering advocacy for Land expropriation without compensation and their anti-imperialist, Pan-African foreign policy, which directly threatens Western economic interests. Malema has explicitly stated, โComrades, we must not allow the US to dictate to us what needs to happen in South Africaโ. This is not the language of a flip-flopper; it is the language of a principled anti-imperialist.
The claim that Malema was โused by the USAโ in the #ZumaMustFall movement is a debunked conspiracy theory propagated by pro-Zuma factions to discredit domestic. The movement was a broad-based, internal South African response to Jacob Zumaโs well-documented corruption, which included the Guptas' state capture and the looting of public funds.
While you accuse Malema of inconsistency, letโs examine the MK Party, the party you all call "revolutionary."
The MK Party, under Jacob Zuma, openly wrote letters to and praised the US government, the same imperial power it claims to oppose, begging for intervention against South Africaโs Land reform policies. This is the very definition of selling out, appealing to a foreign power to undermine your own countryโs laws. This is the same Trump administration that Malema consistently confronts. The MK Party called Trump a "beacon of hope" while Malema called him an imperialist. Who is the real revolutionary here?
Furthermore, Zumaโs MK Party filed a treason complaint against AfriForum for lobbying the US government, yet it simultaneously sought US intervention itself, a breathtaking level of hypocrisy.
Your claim that Malema is โdestroying Mkhwanaziโ after supporting him is a deliberate misrepresentation. Malemaโs position has been clear. Whistleblowers must be protected, but their allegations must be substantiated under oath in Parliament, not just in the media. This is not a U-turn, it is a demand for due process and institutional integrity. But you wonโt understand no Zuma minion will understand.
The corruption charges against Malema from over a decade ago were highly politicized and never resulted in a conviction. Since then, he and the EFF have been at the forefront of exposing corruption within the ANC-led government, from Zumas state capture to the mismanagement of Eskom and SARS and Phala Phala.
The EFFโs advocacy for Land reform, nationalization of mines, and Free Education are clear, consistent policy positions that threaten established economic interests, which is why they attract such fierce opposition.
The coordinated attacks on Malema, from Trumpโs sanctions, to AfriForumโs lobbying, to disinformation campaigns, are not because he is a โsell-out.โ They are because he is the most effective leader in challenging the status quo of white monopoly capital and neocolonial influence in South Africa.
The real sell-outs are those who appeal to Washington while wearing the mask of revolution. The real flip-floppers are those who praise Trump as a "beacon of hope" while claiming to fight imperialism.
The racists are all shaking, writing letters and books about Malema not because he is a sellout but because he is a threat to the imperialist world.
