@MDCNOfficial The portal was eventualy updated in the afternoon and I'm the evening.
So onto the next agenda.✅
Please when will the minimum wage be implemented or aren't we part of labour force too?
@MDCNOfficial Most persons have been on the portal since 12am midnight
*No sleep
*Just refreshing with tired eyes.
Since no time was placed for updates.
Just dates, and from prior experience the times are just so unpredictablly random.
Yet still no update
@OPay_NG
Sometimes whenever I want to just recharge normal Glo airtime.
Your system automatically does it to that 5x, which I do not need.
And once it does 5x you can’t use the airtime to buy data on your phone.
Please fix this, it's very annoying and a waste to me
If you want to leave the country to practice medicine, leave early. If you want to specialise here in Nigeria, please start very early so you don’t start residency at 45 and your SR is a 29 year old. No mater the kind treatment you get, it’s always going to be awkward.
@Aghahowa_Sam It's easier handing the data I guess.
Rpping off the stats of
Maternal Mortality Rate and infant mortality rate is this or that.
Until it lands close to home, those rates are your sisters' or aunties' or neighbour or even future nieces.
Mtcheww, just anyhow take.
@Aghahowa_Sam 'background in health sector.'
When I saw some followers callig him a 'Doctor'. I had to check his profile to confirm if it's an MD degree.
I guess it's a Doctorate Degree.
I forgive him, he's into tech, his profile reads 'healthtech entrepreneur.
Why?
Because the energy, time, and focus that should have gone into building emotional balance, peace at home, and bonding with a spouse or family… gets fully channeled into work.
They become beasts at the office.
They meet all deadlines.
They break limits.
They overperform because there’s no emotional safe place at home to fall back on.
So, what’s the point of reaching the peak of your profession and returning home every evening to emotional emptiness?
What’s the point of owning companies, leading departments, making six figures… and still wishing you had someone to genuinely smile with before bed?
There’s nothing wrong with being ambitious as a woman.
In fact, you should be.
But when your growth is powered by emotional pain, loneliness, or constant war at home,
it becomes a success that tastes bitter.
And sometimes, even after all the achievements, the heart is still searching for what real partnership feels like.
Some can’t even rest, they keep working late, not because they have to, but because they’re avoiding the reality waiting at home.
Dear women:
Don’t let pain drive your success. Let vision drive it.
And don’t give up on love or peace at home because of ambition, you deserve both.
True balance is when you win in your career and still find rest in your home.
That’s the real flex.
Ultimately, when both the applause and critiques have subsided, it remains solely your journey to navigate every single day and it’s a lonely one I promise.
Just stay true to your convictions and never stop leading with your heart.
Thus, the vulgar words for sexual organs and sexual intercourse are welcomed in the sex vocabulary of youths, but other equally vulgar words for sex in pidgin and indigenous languages are treated as razz. Gbola is razz, but dick is fey; pussy is hot, but toto is tueh.
Today I was thinking about the linguistics of sex and how we find it difficult to moan in indigenous languages, one of the insidious and long-lasting linguistic violence remnant of colonialism and neocolonialism by grafting sex lingo from Hollywood films.
Please invest in yourself. Pay the price, build your skill set, the world is moving at an alarming speed and you don't want to be left behind.
Ji ma sun!
