What an enjoyable interaction at #ThePeoplesUniversity Tshwane University of Technology this morning. TUT, I was told, is the only University in the land with a dedicated ICT Faculty. We spent the morning with students, researchers, government departments, cybersecurity specialists and regulators engaging on everything cybersecurity, digital transformation, innovation, national sovereignty and artificial intelligence related.
To quote myself 🙈 “The question is not whether technology will change our future. It undoubtedly has and will continue to do so. The real question is whether we will shape that future in a way that advances our constitutional values, strengthens our democracy and broadens opportunity for all our people”

This morning we got to join the blowing of the kudu horn and deliver an address at the Opening of the
AT50 Index at the @JSE_Group . Launched at the London Stock Exchange earlier this year, the Africa Tech 50 Index (AT50) is a rules-based quarterly benchmark tracking up to 50 of Africa's most listing-ready private technology companies. It is the first index of its kind, providing institutional investors with a transparent, governable framework for exposure to African tech growth.
The ceremony brought together leaders from the investment institutions, global banks, development finance, exchanges and Africa’s most scaled private technology companies to explore how innovation, investment and capital formation can accelerate South Africa's digital economy and drive inclusive growth.

Egg. Face. I was taught never to kick a man when he is down. We trust he will find a way to walk back all that was said and done bending over backwards for a single, belligerent company. We always said there were many birds in the sky. Look now, kunjani makunje?Pity they were prepared to burn the house down for Starlink. Hope serious lessons learnt. Nonetheless, we move 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

A small scale mining fund beneficiary, Mojalefa, says the funding he received from the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has assisted him to make headway in his operations.
Know your corrupt DA Party:
1) The Public Protector has found that the City of Cape Town's failure to provide basic municipal services to residents of Langa and Khayelitsha amounts to maladministration and improper conduct.
2) The Auditor-General of South Africa has raised serious concerns about the financial health and governance of the City of Cape Town.
3) The Constitutional Court has found that the DA has failed to deliver well-located, affordable housing where it is needed most in Cape Town.
Bunch of hypocrites the ANC, they used to go round saying they would create a better life for all if they got into government, instead it destroyed our institutions, introduced widespread corruption and decimated jobs while its elite got rich.
The message and middle finger is very clear Retha. They do not serve for all people but the DA and the sooner we accept that, the better. Conversely we must treat them as such - DA Ministers not Government Ministers.
Bunch of hypocrites the DA. They used to run around telling South Africa that should they go into government, they would sell Brynterion Estate which houses government Ministers and the Official Residence of the President, Mahlamba Ndhlopfu. Jiki Jiki Alan Winde Premier of Western Cape lives in a palatial government house worth R170m in Cape Town.
Now this one expects us to clap that his car has no blue lights but he’s happy to take the chauffeured car. Saze savelelwa 🙄
But you are a Deputy Minister, and Deputy Ministers perform no earthly function. Now you want us to clap like enthusiastic seals because the new BMW X5 behind you doesn't have bluelights?
Your party used to advocate for the removal of Deputy Ministers. Remember?
I spent my entire day finding companies abroad that are actively hiring remotely. I found a few companies all hiring remote workers and compiled them into one sheet.
